More than just a vision check

Eye tests are not just about having your vision checked for a new pair of spectacles. Many eye diseases and health conditions can be detected during a routine examination and then the necessary steps can be taken to refer you for the appropriate treatment where required. Many of these conditions develop with little or no symptoms and it is for this reason that regular eye tests are so important, to ensure early diagnosis and treatment, to prevent any damage to your vision that may occur.

There are a number of medical conditions that have an effect on the health of your eyes, something which your visiting optician will check for during your eye test. In the links to the left you will find information concerning various eye conditions and how to deal with them. If you are worried in any way about your eyes, you can call us to book an appointment with an optician who will be able to test your eyes and assess any potential problems.
