PATIENT RETENTION ADVISOR

Reporting to: Head of Patient Contact

Salary: £16k pa rising to £17k after successfully completing probationary period.

As a member of our Outbound Customer Appointments Team you will be contacting our clients and arranging their routine Sight & Hearing testing appointments with them. You will have a desire to succeed clients expectation and have a positive ‘Can do’ attitude with an ability to achieve high standards at all times and be able to use initiative and creativity.

You must be confident in working in a role where your actions will directly influence others and have experience of working to targets and managing your own client portfolio.

WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU

  • Quality outbound calls contacting our current patients with an aim to rebook them for their routine sight and Hearing appointments.
  • Listening to customer requirements and presenting appropriately to make a booking.
  • Understanding and communicating up to date information on the products and services offered by The Outside Clinic.
  • Regularly and accurately updating the databases.
  • Be proactive with contacts to ensure we are first in mind when the patients or practices are looking for assistance with their optical and hearing care needs.
  • To understand team strategies and objectives.
  • Ability to work and problem solve independently and manage deadlines when required.
  • Exceptional eye for detail with an inquisitive approach to your work.
  • Complies with all aspects of the Health and Safety at Work Etc Act 1974 and with the Company’s current Health and Safety Policies.

YOU NEED

  • The ability to explain just about anything to anyone, and you’re comfortable communicating on the phone and via email.
  • Ability to achieve high standards at all times and be able to use initiative and creativity
  • Strong problem solving skills with the ability to think on your feet.
  • Excellent influencing and persuasive skills.
  • Strong time management skills, ability to take responsibility for and prioritise own workload
  • Good customer service skills, committing to company belief of ‘always do what is right for the patient’
  • A professional, approachable nature
  • Self starter

References: One of your referees must be your current line manager and all references must cover the previous five years work or study history.
