SCHEDULER – OPTOMETRY TEAM

Reporting to: Helen our Scheduling Manager.

Salary: Commensurate with qualification and experience

As part of the team in a hard-working contact centre you will be helping to maintain the best schedules for our professional optometric staff that work all across the UK. You will help to manage any obstacles that arise during their working day and be able to roll with the punches when schedules change suddenly.

This role will enhance your customer service experience and enable you to use mapping, car tracking, and logistics software as well as working closely with clinical staff in a supportive role.

  • To understand team strategies and objectives.
  • Very organised approach with the ability to multi-task using multiple bespoke systems.
  • Ability to work and problem solve independently and manage deadlines when required.
  • To understand, identifying and take ownership of operational decisions.
  • Use your knowledge to manage GOS (General Ophthalmic Services) paperwork, ensure we meet all claims requirements and keep external health and social care regulators are up to date with patient information.
  • You like learning new things, and are quick to learn.
  • Operate in line with company policies, procedures, NHS guidelines and current legislation at all times.
  • To comply with all aspects of the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and with the Company’s current Health and Safety Policies.

YOU HAVE

  • The ability to explain just about anything to anyone, and you’re comfortable communicating on the phone and via email.
  • The people skills to deal with senior managers, clinical staff and colleagues.
  • The ability to collect data, define and solve problems, establish facts and draw logical conclusions.
  • An awesome, positive, can-do attitude.
