OutsideClinic completes relocation to new headquarters in South Marston, Swindon

OutsideClinic, the UK's largest provider of home eye and hearing care services, has completed the relocation of its headquarters office to South Marston, Swindon. The move took place over the Easter bank holiday and opened to welcome colleagues on Tuesday, 11th April, marking a significant milestone for the company in its ongoing growth and expansion. It follows the acquisition of leading companies in eye and hearing care, including Visioncall, the UK's leading provider of eye care to care homes, bloom hearing specialists™ and Care Opticians – boosting OutsideClinic's capacity and ability to deliver high-quality eye and hearing care in patient's homes, care homes and sheltered accommodation.

The new location offers 22,000 square feet of modern, light-filled office space, providing a revolutionary open-plan environment that enables colleagues and departments to grow alongside the business. With a significant investment in the building, OutsideClinic has created a workspace that provides the latest technology, comfort and inspiration to support colleague productivity and well-being. There are also dedicated spaces for well-being, training facilities, and well-equipped kitchens and break-out areas.

The location's close proximity to the A419 provides easy access to major transport links, opening up job opportunities within the head office to a broader geographical area. This not only allows the company to attract new talent from a wider pool of candidates but also makes it easier for mobile colleagues to visit the head office when necessary. The location is also well-connected to a range of local amenities, making it convenient for colleagues to work and thrive.

As part of its ongoing efforts to reduce its carbon footprint, OutsideClinic has invested in a new electric fleet to replace its existing vehicles. The company is still onboarding these new electric vehicles, and to support this transition, the new headquarters in South Marston has been equipped with several electric charging points for colleagues to use when they are visiting. This move highlights the company's commitment to sustainability and promoting eco-friendly practices within its operations. The new electric fleet will enable OutsideClinic to provide its services in a more environmentally friendly manner, further demonstrating the company's commitment to a greener future.

Over 200 colleagues have relocated from the Old Town address to the prominent South Marston Industrial Estate location. The property, set over two floors, houses all head office departments and serves as the prime location for the training and development of new optometrists and audiologists who join the business.
