Transforming lives, one win at a time
We recently brought extra joy to our customers with a special weekly draw, where 10 lucky winners had the chance to get their money back!
Customers who purchased rechargeable hearing aids or Zeiss lenses were automatically entered, and the response was amazing. For the winners, the unexpected news was both exciting and heartwarming, making a real difference in their lives.
Transforming lives, one customer at a time
Heather MacKenzie
When our clinician called Heather with the exciting news that she’d won, it couldn’t have come at a better time. Following a recent storm, Heather had been without power and was feeling the strain of the cold weather. Winning her glasses truly brightened her day.
Thrilled with her new eyewear, Heather shared:
"I am so grateful for everything you have done; the glasses are fabulous."

Jeannie Dodd
Jeannie was overjoyed to learn she had won her glasses. After struggling with her vision for over a year and particularly with the TV, she finally booked her first eye test with OutsideClinic as she was unable to visit a local optician.
"I’m looking forward to being able to see the TV and watching my favourite shows."
Jeannie Dodd
Jeannie’s story highlights the importance of regular eye care and how improved vision can bring back simple pleasures like reading or watching TV.
Carolyn Ward
For Carolyn, who faces severe mobility challenges, our domiciliary service was a lifeline. At 77, Carolyn is awaiting spinal surgery and preparing herself to use an electric wheelchair.
"My sister was very worried about me using an electric wheelchair without getting my eyes checked first. The service was excellent and I am very very grateful."

Not only did Carolyn receive her much-needed glasses, but she was also delighted to learn she had won her money back. Her story is a testament to the power of accessible care, offering greater confidence and independence to those who need it most.
Moments that made us smile
One of the most rewarding aspects of the campaign was delivering the good news to the winners. Our clinicians cherished the opportunity to make those joyful calls:
- Tom Lewis, Audiologist: "I can’t wait to let her know. She’s such a lovely lady - she’ll be so chuffed!"
- Hannah Frankpitt, Optometrist: "I spoke to Heather, and it’s made her day, especially as she’s been without power since Saturday!"
- Edwin Achu, Optometrist: "I just called her son, and they’re absolutely over the moon!"
These moments reminded us why we’re so passionate about providing exceptional care - it’s about making a real difference in people’s lives.
Celebrating the gift of better care
The weekly draw was more than just a giveaway - it was a celebration of the transformative impact that better vision and hearing can have. To read more about the incredible journeys of our customers, check out the story of another winner in Winning the Gift of Better Hearing.
As we reflect on this heartwarming campaign, we’re inspired to keep improving lives in 2025 and beyond. Every pair of glasses, every hearing aid, and every visit is a step towards making a meaningful difference - and that’s something we’re incredibly proud of.
