Winning the gift of better hearing
When Ann Gardner noticed her 92-year-old mum, Audrey, struggling with her hearing, she knew it was time to take action. Audrey was finding it harder to keep up with conversations, talk on the phone, or even enjoy her favourite TV shows. The growing isolation caused by her hearing loss was beginning to take a toll on her daily life.
Although Audrey had an NHS hearing aid, it wasn’t meeting her needs. Unable to travel for appointments, Ann began searching for a service that could provide care at home. That’s when she came across OutsideClinic.
"I'd heard of OutsideClinic through my husband's work many years ago. I looked them up online and saw their Trust Pilot reviews, which were excellent. I felt confident they'd be able to help mum."

The hearing test
Audrey's experience began with a visit from Tom, an experienced audiologist, who instantly made an impression.
"Tom was brilliant. He was so patient with mum and took his time to explain everything. I couldn't fault him - he was lovely. He never pressured us to choose the most expensive hearing aids but instead gave us options and let us decide what was best for her."

Tom was thrilled to learn that one of his patients had won the draw and was eager to share the good news with Audrey and Ann.
"I'm just so chuffed it's one of my customers! Audrey and Ann are the loveliest people and a deserving winner!"
Tom Lewis, Audiologist
With Tom delivering and fitting her new hearing aids in the next couple of weeks, Audrey can look forward to a lovely Christmas with improved hearing. This Christmas, Audrey will join Ann and her husband for a quiet family day to celebrate.
